Nizhny Novgorod Sports Palace will host an international youth hockey tournament UTLC Ice Cup 2021 from 25 May to 30 May, where young stars of Eurasia will gather again under the Young Eurasian Stars motto. The flagship of the project is ‘United Transport and Logistics Company – Eurasian Rail Alliance’ (UTLC ERA) which provides services for transportation of transit railway containers on the route China\Southeast Asia – EU and backward. The tournament has become the second sports project following a prominent football tournament UTLC Cup held in Moscow at RZD Arena. The hosts of the championship – Torpedo from Nizhny Novgorod – will face CSKA Moscow, SKA Saint-Petersburg, Avtomobilist from Yekaterinburg and teams from Belarus and Kazakhstan – Dinamo and Barys.
‘Our large social project Young Eurasian Stars is back after a short break and receives a new direction of development but without losing its main goal – unity. The best hockey teams will play in Nizhny Novgorod and I’m sure that all clubs will show their high skills and will make their fans happy’ – said UTLC ERA CEO Alexey Nikolaevich Grom.
The tournament will be held from 25 May to 30 May in Nizhny Novgorod Sports Palace, local and region authorities will be among prominent guests in addition to KHL players and ambassadors of countries participating in the tournament.
